Over 1890 health professionals have now registered to complete the Victorian Government Sleep and Settling Training for Victoria’s MCH Workforce.
Developed by Tweddle and The Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, the Sleep and Settling Model of Care Training includes online modules and face-to-face workshops.
The modules include interviews with Paediatricians, MCH nurses and parents. They also provide an overview of the many elements that impact on babies’ sleep and settling behaviour.
The Project team are now preparing to tour the regions with a series of face to face training sessions.
Tweddle is working closely with the Department of Health and the Municipal Association of Victoria to ensure that the entire MCH workforce complete their ELearning Modules and attend a workshop.
All participants will receive the training manual along with a certificate of completion.
