Getting to Know Your Baby
The first twelve weeks of welcoming a newborn baby home can feel like navigating a whirlwind for many parents. Recognising the unique challenges of this crucial period of bonding and development, Tweddle has a program called ‘Getting to Know Your Baby’.
Broken sleep, adapting to new feeding routines, endless questions, and feelings of isolation can be overwhelming, but help is available.
The program is free and tailored specifically for parents of newborns and babies up to three months old.
What is the ‘Getting to Know Your Baby’ Day Stay Program?
The day stay program is hosted by Tweddle’s team of experienced Early Parenting Practitioners. Families and their infants engage in candid discussions about parenthood, which include a wide range of themes, from understanding newborn cues, feeding, and sleeping patterns, to exploring developmental milestones, bonding and attachment. Conversations around introducing play interactions that promote healthy brain development are shared.
The opportunity to ask additional questions and seek individual support is available.
Families can benefit from a blend of group sessions and one-on-one care and advice within a supportive, safe, and non-judgmental environment.
