Growing Great Babies and Kids
Growing Great Babies & Kids is an early support program for expectant parents.
We understand that getting ready for a baby and becoming a parent can be challenging. We want to help you and your growing family get support early in your pregnancy and during the first few weeks after your baby is born.
The Team will get to know you, and in partnership, work out an individualised plan to support you and your baby’s health, growth, and parenting confidence. Support and education will be delivered one-on-one and in small groups.

What We Focus On
Pregnancy and the early months of parenthood can be stressful for a range of reasons. Babies thrive in the first 1000 days (conception to age 2) when their parents are cared for, and supported to manage the challenges that can accompany pregnancy. These can include:
- Learning challenges
- Social isolation
- Impacted by family violence
- Addressing and recovering from alcohol and drug issues
- Relationship issues impacting on pregnancy
- Multiple complex needs that maybe impacting on parenting
- Previous child/ren who have been in or are in Out of Home Care (OOHC)
The Growing Great Babies & Kids team, work alongside families to set achievable goals. Education is then tailored to the needs of each person, according to their history, culture, beliefs, and values.
