Two Breastfeeding Support Programs for Brimbank families
Tweddle Child and Family Health Service and Brimbank Maternal and Child Health have partnered to offer two support programs for parents in the City of Brimbank.
The programs are delivered by experienced and qualified Tweddle Lactation Consultants and Brimbank Maternal and Child Health Nurses.

Drop-in Breastfeeding Program.
Drop-in Breastfeeding Program for parents with babies aged 0-12 months.
- Partner and families are welcome to attend
- No appointment necessary
- Free of charge including light snacks
- When: Once per month on a Thursday
- Time: 9.30am – 2.30am
- Where: The Deer Park Children’s Centre

Weekly Breastfeeding Service.
In partnership with Brimbank City Council, Tweddle provides a breastfeeding support service in Kings Park for parents with babies aged up to 3 months.
- When: Tuesdays and Fridays (During school terms)
- How: Speak with your Brimbank MCH nurse about a referral to the service
- Cost: Free to all families living in Brimbank with a baby aged up to 3 months of age.
