Tweddle Strategic Plan 2021 – 2024 Outlines Bold Vision

By

Tweddle’s new strategic plan 2021-2024 outlines the bold and optimistic vision Tweddle has for the next four years. We must remain ambitious, as we embark upon a decade of expansion and new partnerships.

Our values of Care, Accountability, Respect, and Engagement underpin our strategic commitment across four priorities; Relationships, People, Advocacy, and Thought Leadership.

The strategic plan charts the outcomes we seek, how we plan to get there, and how we will measure success. A priority is to develop, assist and support our employees to be the best they can be. It is with thanks to our employees that we exist to build upon 100 years of excellence and care for babies, toddlers and families.

An undertaking to provide inclusive services is highlighted. We will foster and strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally & linguistically diverse families, and ensure we offer cultural safety across the organisation.

We will prioritise relationships with families of all abilities, LGBTQI+ families and single-parent families, and the organisations that care for them.  Tweddle’s unique position as the voice of babies and toddlers within their relationships allows us to engage families early to mitigate the impact of adverse childhood experiences. We know that what we do today, can change the future for babies.

Through our Strategic Plan, we share our goal that all babies receive sensitive, nurturing relationships that provide the foundation for lifelong mental and physical health and wellbeing. A child’s first 1000 days will continue to guide our strategic objectives.
