Due to the recent Health Department COVID announcements regarding Victoria’s 5 day lock down, commencing midnight Friday 12th – midnight Wednesday 17th February, there will be the following temporary changes to Tweddle’s residential and community programs:

  • Residential Program – continuing until further notice

  • Brimbank Breastfeeding clinic (face to face postponed)

Symptoms of COVID-19 can range from mild illness to pneumonia. Some people will recover easily, and others may get very sick very quickly. People with coronavirus may experience symptoms such as:

  • fever
  • respiratory symptoms
  • coughing
  • sore throat
  • shortness of breath

Other symptoms can include runny nose, acute blocked nose (congestion), headache, muscle or joint pains, nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, loss of sense of smell, altered sense of taste, loss of appetite and fatigue.

Please do not attend Tweddle if you have any of these symptoms or have attended a COVID public exposure site as outlined here.

To stop the spread of COVID-19 people with even mild symptoms of respiratory infection should get tested.

Tweddle will continue to provide Telehealth consultations and intake assessments. Please call us on (03) 9689 1577. Further updates will be provided next week on Tweddle’s Facebook page and website. Stay safe and please continue to call Tweddle if you need support with your baby or toddler.
