Tweddle will read the referral and may ask for additional information or reports to:
- Determine if the family meet the eligibility criteria (stable mental health, stable accommodation, no current drug and alcohol issues/two weeks of clean screens, no current concerns in relation to harm to self or others)
- Gain information to strengthen the report provided to Child Protection
- Tweddle may request a pre-admission meeting with the family and/or Child Protection (this may be related to establishing a risk assessment, and/or for families who are anxious and nervous about coming to Tweddle and can meet Tweddle staff and see where they will be staying)
NB: when sending a referral, where possible, please send a copy of the following:
- Neuropsychology report
- MARAM
- Last mental health assessment
- Any Paediatric reports and/or discharge summaries
- NDIS plans
- Maternal and Child Health Reports
