Tweddle program update - Tweddle CEO

Tweddle program update – Tweddle CEO

By

Tweddle will be doing our utmost to continue to help babies, toddlers, families and the health professionals that care for them during the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the direction of the Department of Health and Human Services, we are offering reduced residential and day stay programs with the exception of our Bacchus Marsh Day Stay which will temporarily close.

We will be moving to virtual visits, online parenting education and telehealth so we can help families face to face. Consultations can be through Skype, Zoom, Face-time and other platforms. Families are now able to self refer.

Even though Working Out Dads, PlaySteps and MyTime groups are currently on hold, enquiries are still welcomed and we will contact you when the programs resume.

Parents feeling less stress means babies feeling less stress, so look after yourself. Links to Tweddle’s App and videos are available on our website. At this time, the mental health of you and your family is our priority so please also make use of the many help lines available.

We have updated the status of the following Tweddle  programs

  • Residential Program – currently running a reduced program
  • Working Out Parenting Dads Group (residential dads) – temporary closure
