Pre-admission Information
Health
It is important that all family members are well enough to participate in the program. Please notify us if you or your family are not well. Your booking will then be rescheduled.
We know that some parents choose not to immunise their children. If there is an outbreak of an infectious disease we will ask the family to leave the program.
Breastfeeding
Families need to bring in any labelled items that will support them with breastfeeding. This may include your breast pump and equipment and containers for storage of expressed breastmilk if applicable.
Bottles and Brushes
Every year over 1,000 families stay with us, that’s a lot of bottles! In keeping with Tweddle’s Infection Control Policy, we need to ensure the highest infection control standards are maintained to keep you and your baby well during your stay with us.
Tweddle families are required to bring their own feeding equipment and bottle cleaning equipment (bottles, teats, bottle brush) for use in the communal formula/milk room. We also ask that families do not leave boiled water in the fridge and instead boil the kettle immediately prior to each formula preparation. This will help us reduce the risk of infections in stored boiled water. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for our families.
Allergies
If you or your child have an allergy to food or other substances, please tell us. If you have an allergy management plan, bring it with you.
Tweddle is a ‘nut free’ environment. So, for child safety no peanut or nut products please.
