Playsteps for Brimbank families launches in March

A fun and relaxed new early parenting program based on play and relationships will start in March for families living in the City of Brimbank.

Playsteps, a free program for parents of babies, toddlers and children under the age of 4, is a friendly way to build parenting confidence in a supportive environment.

Over 8 weeks, parents and can develop their understanding of their baby or toddler’s cues, share parenting experiences and make friends. Facilitators use play, games, stories and music to strengthen attachment and to help parents build confidence.

Playsteps runs from 9.30am – 11.30am every Tuesday from March 17th – May 5th. As places are limited bookings are essential. Morning tea and refreshments will be provided at no cost.

Brimbank Playsteps is delivered by Tweddle, a Brimbank Communities for Children Facilitating Partner, funded by the Australian Government and facilitated by The Smith Family.
