What is the Working Out Parenting Dads Group?

Working Out Parenting is a free on-site group for dads with a family attending a Tweddle residential program. The group is a chance for dads to share a bite to eat and to talk about parenting, relationships and health.

The group also aims to encourage dads to participate in the residential program. Research confirms that dads play a significant role in the social, cognitive, emotional and physical well-being of their children from infancy with lasting influences into their adult life.

It’s important that dads feel supported connected and valued. This leads to stronger families, better relationships, happier children and improved health outcomes.

Who is Working Out Parenting for?

The Working Out Parenting Dads Group forms part of the Residential Program and is for dads with a family staying at Tweddle. All dads are encouraged to attend and this includes dads who are unable to stay overnight.
