Tweddle Day Stay Programs
Tweddle provides public Day Stay programs across six Victorian regions. Locations include Footscray, Wyndham, and Geelong. We also deliver Day Stay programs in Kings Park in partnership with Brimbank Council, Terang in partnership with Terang & Mortlake Health Service and Hindmarsh Day Stay in Nhill in partnership with West Wimmera Health Service.
You can self-refer to a Tweddle Day Stay program or ask your trusted Health Professional to refer you.
Tweddle also offers families one-on-one sleep and settling support at one of our Private Day Stay Centres. Our Private Day Stay service has reduced wait times for parents and families wanting support with babies and toddlers.
Tweddle Day Stay Support
It is often an unsettled baby or wakeful toddler that spurs parents into seeking a referral to Tweddle however Tweddle’s caring, specialist Day Stay team support parents with many different challenges including;
- Sleep and Settling
- Feeding and mealtimes
- Attachment and bonding
- Establishing Routines
- Mental Health
- Toddler Behaviour
- Developmental ages and stages
All programs focus on infant health, development, and the promotion of attachment relationships. The Maribyrnong and Terang & Mortlake Day Stay programs provide support for parents and their 0 – 3-year-old children and our Geelong, Wyndham and Kings Park Day Stay programs support parents with children up to 12 months.
Tweddle Private Day Stay Program
- Duration: Approx. 5-6 hrs ( 9.45 am to 4pm )
- Cost: $405
Tweddle’s private Day Stay Centres engage one family per day, giving you one on one support and the opportunity to run through a good portion of your baby’s daily routine. There are tea and coffee-making facilities; you just need to bring linen and something to eat for yourself and anything your child will need for the day (bottles, formula, solids). A support person is welcome.
Note for families regarding Bottles and Bottle Brushes
Every year over 1,000 families stay with us, that’s a lot of bottles! In keeping with changes in Tweddle’s Infection Control Policy, Tweddle families are required to bring their own feeding equipment and bottle cleaning equipment (bottles, teats, bottle brush) for use in the communal formula/milk room. we also ask that families no longer leave boiled water in the fridge and instead boil the kettle immediately prior to each formula preparation.
This will help us reduce the risk of infection in stored boiled water. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for families.
