What is the Brimbank Online Playsteps Group?

Due to COVID-19, Tweddle is now delivering the free Brimbank Playsteps program through zoom, the online platform that allows participants to meet each other, engage and interact.

The play program will run for 8 weeks and have a focus on having fun and strengthening parent-child relationships.

The group is facilitated by Play and Early Parenting Practitioners. A weekly group and one-on-one play sessions will be offered to parents and carers.

Who is Playsteps for?

Mums, dads, foster parents, or a primary carer with a baby or child under 2.

What will I get out of Playsteps?

  • An opportunity to build positive bonding times with my baby or toddler through play, stories and music
  • Time to develop my understanding of baby and toddler cues and ways to respond
  • A fun way to share parenting experiences in an informal setting
  • Build my confidence and enjoyment in my parenting role

When Wednesday mornings

Group Time  Play sessions run for 30-40 minutes

One-on-One  Play sessions run for 15 minutes

How  Parents will be emailed a zoom link that will allow them to join the group

Dates  Wednesday mornings on August 19th, 26th, September 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th and October 7th
