Tweddle is proud to serve families from across the state, with a focus on families in Melbourne’s north and west. Tweddle welcomes people of all backgrounds, cultures, nationalities, religions and sexual identify. It is a priority to ensure that our services are accessible, appropriate and fair for all families, visitors and carers.

We seek to create a safe and welcoming environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and provide a culturally respectful space for all families.  Tweddle offers interpreters at admission and intake, for two hours on the family’s first day and on a needs basis on following days.

Tweddle invites you to add your voice and personal experience to improve the services we offer and the ways we go about supporting parents, children and babies. There are many ways to get involved in areas of interest to you.

Consumer Partners are volunteers who provide their views on an array of activities such as:

  • Client resources we develop
  • Publications we produce
  • Planning our programs
  • Designing our programs
  • Evaluating our programs
  • Evaluating feedback we receive from families
  • Improving the quality and safety of our programs through targeted projects

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please view our  Consumer Partner Flyer and Tweddle Consumer Partner Position Description for more information and advice about how to express your interest.
