Tweddle’s Fee For Service options include In-Home, Telehealth, Parental Leave Support and our Private Day Stay Program

Tweddle offers families the option of using our fee-for-service early parenting support packages. This includes In-Home Support, Telehealth and our Private Day Stay Program in Footscray, Kings Park and Tarneit.  Reserving the services of a private Tweddle Clinician avoids the longer wait times associated with our funded programs.

Tweddle’s fee-for-service clinicians are experienced, gentle and specialist nurses and early parenting practitioners with expertise and qualifications in sleep and settling, attachment, mental health, lactation, weaning, nutrition and childhood behaviour.

Tweddle Fee For Service Programs – Geelong, Kings Park, Tarneit and Footscray

A new Barwon service for Greater Geelong and Torquay families is now available for mums, dads and carers in the region needing specialist, caring support with their babies and toddlers. The service includes a Private Day Stay centre and In-Home support. Tweddle’s Manager of Barwon Programs is local registered nurse Fiona Kay.

Telehealth

Tweddle’s in-home parenting clinicians provide intensive, caring, experienced support for parents and carers. Whether it be face to face, on your phone, laptop, desktop or other mobile devices, we make a time that suits you, to connect with you and your baby or toddler. We can use Zoom or chat over the phone depending on your preference.

Tweddle’s Fee For Service consultations are delivered within the week of your inquiry. A free 15 minute follow up call and emailed resources are provided with your booking. The costs are as follows;

• One 1 hour consultation $160
• Two 1 hour consultations $290
• Three 1 hour consultations $405

In Home support

Tweddle offers gentle solutions to help your baby or young child learn to sleep and settle. We provide expert in-home and telephone support for baby and toddler sleep, settling, behaviour, feeding and parenting uncertainty.

Tweddle’s In-Home Packages are provided as both funded and fee for service programs. Organisations may purchase individual or multiple in-home consultations as part of a care package for families. Tweddle support over one hundred families every week with parenting programs, counselling and resources. Whether it be for sleep and settling, childhood behaviour, breastfeeding and bottle feeding, an unsettled baby or discussing routines, we are here to help.

Our priority is the health and welfare of your family. Your caring consultant will encourage you and provide specialised advice that will help you feel confident and understood.

Sleep and Settling – Day Time Support

Package one

• Duration:             2.5hrs
• Cost:                    $295

Package two

There are two options for this package. Families can either choose between Day Stay in the Home which is a four hour visit for $405, or choose to see their Tweddle In-Home consultant over two 2-hour visits which is $450.

• Cost                       $405 / 450

We come to you and go through any parenting concerns you have (feeding, sleeping, behaviour, routines etc).  After the visit we prepare any information required, points from your visit and send them to you, and you also have a follow up phone call to see how everything is going.

Telephone Consultation

• 30 minute consultation    $80
• 45 minute consultation    $105

By appointment only. A specialist Tweddle Nurse will provide you with reassurance, information, support and strategies tailored to your individual needs.

Private Day Stay Program (at a Tweddle facility)

• Duration:             Approx. 5 hrs (9-10am am to 4pm)
• Cost:                    $405

Tweddle’s Private Day Stay Program in Footscray, Kings Park, Geelong and Tarneit offers parents the opportunity to spend a day, one-on-one, with a specialist Tweddle Clinician. Parents can run through a good portion of a child’s daily routine, ask questions and receive helpful resources. Your Tweddle Clinician will cover sleep and settling, attachment, feeding and nutrition, routines, developmental ages and stages and any other questions you may have.

All linen is provided, there is tea and coffee making facilities; you just need to bring something to eat for yourself and anything your child will need for the day (bottles, formula, solids). A support person is welcome.

Gift Vouchers

Would you like to support a friend, colleague or family member with an In-Home Gift Voucher? This gift will help the family with a broad range of parenting issues. Our In-Home team visit the Melbourne Metropolitan area. Phone Tweddle on (03) 9689 1577 and we will email or post a voucher to you, which can be used in a 12 month period.

Staff

The Tweddle In-Home Service consists of experienced Tweddle Nurses and Early Parenting Practitioners who deliver flexible programs designed to adapt to your family’s needs.  Our staff are qualified to work through a broad range of parenting challenges that can create vulnerability such as anxiety, depression, disability and relationship breakdown.

We understand the crucial role parents play in supporting healthy child development and the growing brain.  This early development lays the foundation for healthy adulthood and lifelong wellbeing.

Tweddle In-Home Consultants can help with parenting concerns such as:

CANCELLATIONS

We require 24 hours cancellation notice prior to your scheduled phone consultation, home visit or day stay, otherwise a cancellation fee is applicable as follows:

Phone consultation: $30 cancellation fee

Home visit & Private Day Stay: $100 cancellation fee
