Tweddle Childbirth Education Programs

Tweddle’s experienced Childbirth Educators are leading midwives and facilitators. They will prepare and empower you for your labour, birth, breastfeeding and early parenting journey. It is important to us that you feel confident, connected and reassured.

Childbirth Education – Class Options

• Group on-site (face to face) Childbirth Education
• Virtual pre-recorded Childbirth Education

Tweddle’s group on-site Childbirth Education programs are available on a Saturday or Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm for a one day program or Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:30pm over two weeks.

Tweddle’s virtual pre-recorded Childbirth Education program features two classes filmed at Tweddle, delivered by experienced Educators and Midwives with participating parents.

Mums, partners and support people can watch nearly 4 hours of Childbirth Education footage in the comfort of their own homes, at a time that suits them. Participants are sent a password that allows access to Tweddle’s Childbirth Education on Vimeo for one month.

Pre-recorded

View anytime:                4 hours of filmed classes $80

Face to Face

Thursday classes run for two weeks over two Thursday nights

Thursday:                      $100 ($75 Health Care Card Subsidy) 6:00pm to 9.30pm (over 2 weeks)

Saturday or Sunday:     $150 ($120 Health Care Card Subsidy) 10:00am to 4:00pm (1 day program)

Locations

• Face to face sessions are held at Tweddle, 53 Adelaide Street, Footscray VIC 3011
• Virtual pre-recorded sessions can be viewed any time from the comfort of your own home

Bookings

You can purchase your Tweddle Childbirth Education program through one of the below links. Bookings are made through Humanitix; a not-for-profit, safe, online booking platform. Tweddle has requested that booking fees be donated to Indigenous Scholarships | Funded By Ticket Booking Fees (humanitix.com).
