Tweddle's Intake Team

The Intake team provide telephone consultations to families who want to use Tweddle's services. The Intake Team are experienced nurses and focused in either the Maternal Child and Health or Early Childhood areas. They will discuss the issues that are concerning you and work out if Tweddle will be able to assist you.

When you telephone Tweddle, you will not be able to directly speak to the Intake Team. Our reception staff will book a telephone consultation for you at an agreed time with them. At the telephone consultation the Intake Team will listen to your needs and assist you to make decisions about what may be the best program to help you and your family.

The Intake Team will arrange admissions based on family needs and the ages of children to be admitted. They will either

• provide an admission date for any of our programs
• send you additional information so that you can discuss the various options with your family and friends
• suggest other community services to help you.

Sometimes it is possible to be admitted as a standby due to a late notice of a cancellation by another family. The Intake team will discuss this option with you when you call.
