Are you looking for an exciting and challenging role?

The HoPES (Home Parenting Education and Support Program) is an innovative, flexible, home based program conducted in Barwon and Footscray designed to work alongside families referred from Child Protection to improve the outcomes for babies and toddlers in a more timely manner.

This Tweddle home visiting position requires parenting practitioners to engage with families in their home environments. Practitioners will be required to conduct needs and risk assessments and planning to provide parenting education and interventions to improve the safety, stability and development outcomes for babies and toddlers (0-4yrs) through enhanced attached relationships with their primary caregiver(s) for the purpose of preservation and reunification.

Experience and knowledge of early childhood development is essential.  You will also have a sound understanding of the issues facing vulnerable parents and issues affecting their ability to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their child/ren.

The Home Parenting Education Service (HoPES) is an innovative program conducted in Barwon and Footscray to provide intensive in home support and education to high vulnerable parents and their families who may be in receipt of intervention from Child Protection Services.

The HoPES (Home Parenting Education and Support Program) is an innovative, flexible, home based program designed to work alongside families referred from Child Protection to improve the outcomes for babies and toddlers in a more timely manner.

This Tweddle home parenting position is required to actively engage with parents and maintain liaison with DHHS and other community services organisations. Parenting practitioners will conduct needs and risk assessments and planning to provide parenting education and interventions to improve the safety, stability and development outcomes for babies and toddlers (0-4yrs) through enhanced attached relationships with their primary caregiver(s) for the purpose of preservation and reunification.
