Tweddle's highly regarded day programs are designed to provide families with additional support and education to enhance your experience of parenting and respond to the needs of you and your child. We guide you through your day with us and arm you with the skills required to return home feeling more confident.
We operate five Early Parenting Day Programs across Melbourne's North and West. Our Waurn Ponds Early Parenting Centre in Geelong is run in conjunction with the St. John of God's Raphael Centre. Our Melton based Day Programs are run in conjunction with the Djerriwarrh Health Service and our Terang Day Programs are run with the Terang and Mortlake Health Service.
Our team includes caring and experienced maternal & child health nurses, early parenting professionals, registered and mothercraft nurses, psychologists, social workers and lactation consultants.
Whether your concern be around parenting fatigue, uncertainty, feeding, baby or toddler sleep and settling, anxiety and depression, challenging toddlers, multiple births or returning to work, we can help you.
Note for families regarding Bottles and Bottle Brushes
Every year over 1,000 families stay with us, that's a lot of bottles! In keeping with changes in Tweddle's Infection Control Policy, we need to make some changes to ensure the highest infection control standards are maintained to keep you and your baby well during your stay with us.
Tweddle families are now required to bring their own feeding equipment and bottle cleaning equipment (bottles, teats, bottle brush) for use in the communal formula/milk room. we also ask that families no longer leave boiled water in the fridge and instead boil the kettle immediately prior to each formula preparation.
This will help us reduce the risk of infection in stored boiled water. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for families.
