It’s been twelve months since the Government and the Protecting Victoria's Vulnerable Children's Inquiry Panel handed down their comprehensive report and vision for systemic change to services for vulnerable families. International Nurses Day on May 12th is held each year on the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. Tweddle recognises the valuable contribution provided by our team of experienced nurses who work around the clock for vulnerable families. Tweddle staff supporting charities

The team at Tweddle come to work to make a difference. Thousands of families turn to us every year for support and guidance and to help restore confidence when parenting has become difficult to cope with. Our staff are also known for their generosity in helping others in need. Bianca is supporting WhiteLion through their annual Bailout fundraiser and dinner. The last week in May will see Tweddle staff wearing red to help raise money for Red Nose Day. Read more...

Tweddle's MyTime Program locations update

MyTime groups commenced in 2008 to provide peer support, education and encouragement to parents and carers of children with a disability, developmental delay and chronic medical condition. The FaHCSIA Funded program locations were allocated according to community demand which has changed over time. Subsequently MyTime Hillside and Deer Park groups will cease from April 2013. We are pleased to announce that MyTime groups will continue in Altona Meadows, Footscray, Point Cook and Werribee Gold. Read more...
