Our purpose is to provide parenting support to families during pregnancy and with children from birth to school age, resident in the north and west of Melbourne and Victoria.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide parenting support and education to families residing in the north and west of Melbourne and Victoria with children aged 0-4. Families admitted for services will feel supported in their endeavours to be better parents and to cope well with the demands of parenting. They will receive services that are accountable, responsive to research, evidence based and subject to national accreditation.

As a result of our work, families will:

  • Acquire sound parenting skills
  • Develop parenting confidence
  • Improve health and early childhood development outcomes
  • Enhance relationships and attachment
  • Connect to support networks in their local communities

Families will receive services from Tweddle that are collaborative, accountable, evidence based and subject to external evaluation and national accreditation.

Our highest priority is to provide assistance to vulnerable families that are facing multiple challenges such as family instability and violence, depression, anxiety and sleep deprivation.
