New Mums, Dads, Babies and Tweddle Programs

Posted by Kerrie Gottliebsen | 12/01/16

Welcome to the new mums, dads and treasured babies who are just feeling their way into 2016. There are thousands of families just like yours, who in 2015 turned to us for one of our parenting support programs to receive urgently needed support.

There are many ways that our family may be able to help yours this year so keep our number handy. With a new baby (and not necessarily your first) there are changing family dynamics, social, cultural and financial pressures, demands of work and coping with lack of sleep and mental health concerns.

Tweddle’s parenting programs provide specialised guidance to mums and dads who are struggling to cope with the challenges that come with early parenting.  Our programs are underpinned by strengthening the attachment between parents and infants.

Babies and toddlers feel safe, loved and secure. Parents feel confident in their ability to provide the building blocks for their child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.  Whether it be parental exhaustion, managing new infant and toddler routines, breastfeeding difficulties or the conflict that can arise as a result of all of these issues, Tweddle can help.

Our programs include Residential and In Home programs, easily accessible telephone consultations, MyTime, peer support groups for parents of children with special needs in six locations across the west, community based Day Stay parenting support programs in Geelong, Terang, Brimbank and Bacchus Marsh and Childbirth Education in partnership with Western Health.

We look forward to providing support to your family, whether it be through our website parenting tip sheets and videos, social media (Twitter/Facebook and Instagram) or in collaboration with our many community partners.  Visit our Services and Programs pages to see if we can help you and your family today
