Come and play for Children's Week

Children’s Week (24 October to 1 November 2015) is a national initiative that recognises the talents, skills, achievements and rights of children.

Thousands of babies, toddlers and families receive help from Tweddle every year for support with attachment, behavioural difficulties, sleep and settling, feeding, relationships, mental health concerns and parenting uncertainty.

As part of Children’s week, Tweddle are teaming up with The City Of Maribyrnong for some free fun and educational events for families with children 0-5 years across Yarraville, Footscray, West Footscray, Maidstone and Braybrook. We’ll be on hand to chat at the following play and information sessions.

On Tuesday 27 October from 10am-12noon come along to Maidstone Child and Family Centre on for a toddler circus, bilingual story time in Vietnamese and English, rights of the child art exhibition, African drumming and Early Years information table.

On Wednesday 28 October 10am-12noon join in at McNish Reserve in Yarraville to enjoy play activities with garden worms, decorating your bike and pram, native plants show and tell, rainbow painting activity plus nature walks with bracelet making.

On Thursday 29 October 10am-12.30pm prepare for sporting fun at Braybook Community Hub with Olympic play activities, book swap, story time and kindergarten play activities.
