Tweddle welcome a new Director of Clinical Services/Nursing

Posted by Kerrie Gottliebsen | 05/05/15

Tweddle staff are delighted to welcome our new Director of Clinical Services/Nursing. Kirsty Evans arrives at Tweddle after an exhaustive search for a leader with the right experience and knowledge of the early parenting sector and clinical services. Kirsty’s experience includes extensive periods at Victoria’s early parenting centres, including both The Queen Elizabeth Centre and Mercy Health O’Connell Family Centre, where she influenced change as a highly respected clinician.

With a background in child and family nursing Kirsty has the perfect attributes to continue Tweddle’s growth and evolution as we approach our centenary.  We will be farewelling Sue Couper who, for nearly two years, has guided Clinical services. Sue has overseen the introduction of a new practice framework, a clinical Practice Lead role, new outreach services and strengthened partnerships with Government and community organisations.

Tweddle CEO Jacque O’Brien is thrilled to have Kirsty join the leadership group and head up our dynamic clinical team. “Tweddle clinicians have worked alongside our sister Early Parenting Centres for decades and Kirsty is someone we are all familiar with and respect enormously. We look forward to welcoming her to Tweddle”.
