Health Professionals, Families and staff come together for Children's Week

Posted by Kerrie Gottliebsen | 14/10/14

Did you know that over fifty families a week attend a Tweddle program for parenting support? That’s a lot of parents wanting the best for their children and we’re honoured that so many turn to us in times of vulnerability.  In fact over 4,000 phone calls for help are made to Tweddle every year.

Our Residential Program, Day Stay Program, In Home Service, Infant and Perinatal Psychology Service,  MyTime Program and Parenting Assessment and Skills Development provide desperately needed early intervention to help strengthen families of mums across the State.

This week, health professionals, families and organisations dedicated to the early years will come together to celebrate Children’s Week which will run from the 18th-26th October.

In addition to taking part in the Maribyrnong Council Children’s Picnic In The Park, Tweddle are hosting a health professional afternoon tea, tour and QnA to talk about our new services designed to reach more parents, especially mums and dads experiencing depression and anxiety and vulnerable children at risk.

Tweddle’s services are all about children and strengthening relationships. Visit our services and programs page to see if one of our programs could support your family.
