Parenting Assessment and Skills Development (PASDS) Coordinator

The Parenting Assessment and Skills Development (PASDS) Coordinator is a senior operational/clinical position at Tweddle Child & Family Health Service.  The PASDS Coordinator will report to the Manager High Risk Programs (MHRP) and work closely with the Practice Lead to manage the implementation and development of the PASDS Program.  The PASDS Coordinator is a member of the leadership group at Tweddle and supports the executive with operational and strategic advice as required.

PASDS is provided to vulnerable children and families who are referred from Child Protection.  From the initial assessment of children’s wellbeing and parent’s capacity to care for and protect their children, the service progresses to include intensive parenting education and skills development.  This intensive therapeutic program is used by Child Protection and the Children’s Court to inform their decision making and to ensure appropriate supports are provided to children and their families.

Breastfeeding Support Midwife (LC)

Tweddle is establishing a Breastfeeding Support Service in partnership with Brimbank City Council. The role will establish a Breastfeeding Support Service in Brimbank and provide expert clinical assessment, support and advice to women and their young babies experiencing breastfeeding issues.
